Custom Fine Woodworking that encompasses the beauty of great wood and the function of traditional and modern furniture.  Designs come from a variety of sources. Some are ideas from books, magazines or even from the standpoint of it's function.  From the very simple table to complex chest of drawers, each piece is build with the upmost construction, wood and finish that parallels the customers needs.  These are just some examples of my craftsmanship.

Walnut Chester County Tall Case Clock

Chester County tall clock made from local grown walnut, case is all from the same log. Period glass is also from a local historic building during renovations. Flame walnut on door and lower panel is of high grade. Fluted quarter columns and flame tip finials adorn this case with crisp details.  It's closely matched pair is shown below. Dial is ready for new owners personalization.  Hardware is cast in England. This is one piece that will thrill many generations to come!

Tiger Maple Tall Case Clock

Tiger maple clock commissioned by a discerning client to finish-off the interior of a beautiful Federal home.  Working with the client through the design process, this is the final version of a Pennsylvania tall clock he was looking for.  Fine details in the moulding, rosettes, and finials make this his perfect clock.  The case was made from a log set of tiger maple. With just the right amount of curl, that would not distract or overwhelm the entire piece.  Movement is by David Lindow and dial is painted by Kathi Seiwert.

Philadelphia Spice Box

High style spice box that is made from one board of dense black walnut. This was made for a very special 1st anniversary and I am sure there will be a lifetime of special tokens stored inside.  Behind the locked door houses multiple full length drawers that are hand-dovetailed.  All parts have been hand planed  to give this piece a time honored look.  There are also secret drawers hidden inside.

Arbus Bookcase

Cherry bookcase that was inspired by a photo from a popular interior design magazine.  Specific dimensions were given to fit predetermined books inside.  Well constructed with deep mortise and tenon joints. Restoration glass for the doors. Ebonized fluted leg columns.  Wood is from a single cherry log set with resawn book matched panels.  Satiny smooth shellac finish.
